Roasting
The Lehmann Continuous Cocoa Bean and Nut Roaster is ideal for pre-drying or roasting of cocoa beans as well as roasting of alkalized nibs. It can also be used to roast nuts and oil seeds.
The roasting process is conducted at low temperatures guaranteeing excellent flavor development without any burned flavors. The cocoa bean and nut roaster has an in flow capacity of one to eight tons per hour and can be optionally equipped with colling layers and cold air ducts when operating without reactor downstream process.
